Upload a photo or scan of the drawing in the Drawing Studio. You can keep it exactly as drawn or have it redrawn in one of four styles — 3D animated, knitted, felt and plush, or pixel art — and then generate a short video from it, four, six or eight seconds long. You can describe the movement you would like, such as smoke drifting or leaves swaying, and the price of each step is shown before you start.

You choose the theme, the length and your child’s age band, and the AI writes the story to fit — sentence length and vocabulary are pitched to under-8 or 8+ rather than being the same for every child. Each illustration is then generated to match the sentence it sits beside, so the pictures follow the story rather than being stock art dropped in. You can edit any page afterwards.

Photos are used only to generate your books and are never sold, shared or used to train any AI model. Every upload is re-encoded on arrival, which strips EXIF metadata including any GPS location a phone camera embedded. Uploads are also screened automatically for what they depict before anything is generated. You can delete a child profile, a drawing or a book at any time, and the images go with it.

Yes — that is the point of uploading a photo. The same face is carried across every illustration in the book rather than being redrawn from scratch each time, so your child stays recognisably themselves from the first page to the last.

It is the page-by-page editor. You can write and lay out every page yourself from a blank book, or start from an AI draft or a template and change whatever you like — the text, the pictures, the order of the pages, the dedication. Nothing the AI produces is locked; it is a starting point you own.

Yes. Finished books have narrated playback with a choice of voices, and you can set a default narrator in your account settings. Playback moves page by page with the book, so a child can follow along, and you can preview each voice before choosing one.
